Neways, i'm officially one of those typical receptionists you see on TV.
Reading gossip mags, doing crossword puzzles, playing with my fingernails....
Basically doing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to make time pass faster.
It's times like these that Sudoku comes in handy.
I think i should make an effort to collect sudoku puzzles for my working days.

Please be advised of the following development(s) that may impact your travel programme:

A series of strikes by air travel-related staff is due to take place in Italy on Friday 14^th December. This will include, but is not restricted to, a 24-hour strike by Air Traffic Control employees, Alitalia flight attendants, Meridiana and Eurofly pilots and an eight-hour strike by Meridians flight attendants (10am – 6pm).  

Air travel to/from Italy is expected to be severely disrupted throughout the day therefore travellers are advised to check the status of their flight prior to leaving for the airport.

Went for London Gig yesterday.
Some bands were really good, some were just.... neah..
There was this girl singing solo at the start while playing piano.
My gosh... her voice is soooo amazing!!!
I wish i could capture it in a shell and have it for ever and ever.
(remember evil witch ursula from little mermaid?!)

Oh, a band i adore now is "My Writes".
They're from singapore, and i really love the indiepop thingy they have going on.
PLUS, the lead's voice is the type i like.

Hrm.. seems like the music scene across the causeway is doing a wee bit better than msia.
But then again, i wouldn't know... don't know many msian bands.

OMG... Daniel Henney's new movie - My Father!!!
Can't wait to see it.
It's a true story about a Korean boy who was adopted by americans.
After 22 yrs, he returns to Korea in seach of his biological father, only to find out that his father is a murderer in jail.
Heart-wrenching tale.... It's the kind of story that makes me appreciate my parents more...

Option 1, be an accountant.
Option 2, further studies, get a phD, start lecturing.
Option 3, commencement of "sisterhood project".... yet to be disclosed
Option 4, marry a rich man.

I remember a poem i studied a long time back when i was in Sec school.
I think it was called "the road less travelled"? Something along those line...
Neways, sometimes i wonder where i'll be in 10 years time.
Married with kids?
A high flying business woman?
Or maybe even a corporate slut?
Okay.. the third is very unlikely , but my friends have always teased me about it. God knows why...

I was over at my cousin's place a while back.
She invited one of her Ipoh friends over for lunch.
This girl was previously working in spore, then the US, and now London.
I started thinking after that....
"Do i really want to go back to Malaysia to work??"
Honestly... my friends and i have had repeated conversations about the state of our country. I guess the fact that we're still care about Malaysia is something positive.
But seriously... what will my future be like back there?
I think what i should do for now is to concentrate on studies..
I'm gonna hopefully do really well, get my CA qualifications, and then look for an overseas job.
Even if i don't succeed in London or US, i can always turn to Aus, HK, or Spore, China.
I guess i will EVENTUALLY go back to Msia... Afterall, my parents are there....

I guess this signifies a new level of maturity in me.

Been listening to songs from "Seducing Mr Perfect" and "Coffee Prince".
Really relaxing-chilled out music. I guess i'm back to loving jazzy tunes again!

Why bother when it makes me so emotionally and physically drained? It's not like i gain at the end of everything.

Tired.... tired... tired.
Tired of constantly searching what "IT" is.
Oh self-confidence... why have you deserted me?

What i really need now is a genuine ear...
Someone who wants to listen because they want to listen...
Not because they are OBLIGATED.
Not because they feel that it's their DUTY as a friend.
Not because they want GOSSIP.
Not because they want to PUT ME DOWN.
And most of all, not because they want to tell me their problems after i'm done with my sob story.

Someone who genuinely cares.
Someone who knows what to say.
Someone who won't belittle my problems.
Someone who can see through my lies.
And most of all, someone i can trust.

Such a person doesn't exist right?
Pathetic....

Well, time to put on a smile now and continue this stage show.
I'm so happy!!! there you go.......

3 assignments to be handed in tomorrow.
I just finished 2 of my assignments... one more to go.
I think i'll leave it for tomorrow..
It's my own fault. I knew i should have started on them earlier.
I even went for a Korean Party on Tuesday night.
Oh well... gonna sleep, then work on it tomorrow morning.

I just got back from "Jesus Christ Superstar". Excellent production by the UCL Theatre and Drama society...

Got to sleep early tonight. Have to wake up at 4 plus tomorrow.. Going to Notts once again. Really REALLY excited about netball!!! =D

Been in a really good mood these days... and i've just found a whole ton of new songs to listen to. It's times like this where i just feel like sitting in my room, doing my work, and listening to the songs!

I was walking out of Euston Square station and i saw a DEAD ZEBRA lying at the side of the road.
Yes, I'm serious...
I was so SO shocked!! Literally, my heart stopped.
Then i looked again....
It was a homeless man sleeping by the road side.
He had a zebra print blanket over his whole body.

We have started teaching Eun Hee the Malaysian way of speaking.
So far, she has learnt how to use the word "chiu".
Yesterday, we taught her the meaning of the phrase "where got".
And she's practising our weird whiny accent too..
There goes her english.... haha

There's a rat in our kitchen. A black one. I saw it running on the counter today.
Yuck..
It chewed through the plastic bag and ate Ka Lyn's bread.
We actually set up 2 mousetraps a month ago, but the rat was too smart.
Personally, i think it's because we put chocolate in the mousetrap.
Don't laugh... Fay insists that British rats eat chocolate <shrugs>
Oh well. We've changed it to bread. If it doesn't work, we'll try fried bacon.
Next problem --- How to kill the rat....
